Congratulations to Xiaoqun Yu and Myeonghoon Ko for successfully defending their dissertations!

Our PhD student Xiaoqun Yu successfully defended his PhD thesis “Robust Pre-impact Fall Detection Algorithms and Practical Application in Wearable Airbag Systems for Injury Prevention in Older People” on Dec 8th. Our MS student Myeonghoon Ko successfully defended his MS thesis “Effects of Foot Characteristics and Carbon Fiber Insoles on Human Sports Performance” on Dec 28th.

They will graduate next February with a doctorate and a master’s degree, respectively.
