Welcome dinner to Prof. Choi from University of Wisconsin and to new lab members by the HFEL family! (August 29, 2017)
Prof. Choi is invited by the Prof. Xiong as a visiting professor at Industrial and Systems Engineering Department, KAIST. Prof. Choi will stay here for the fall semester and will do active research collaboration with HFEL lab. In addition, he is also offering a graduate level course during his stay at KAIST. In order to welcome Prof. Choi and his family, Prof. Xiong arranged a nice dinner gathering, in which all the existing and new members of HFEL lab joined and had a good discussion. The purpose of this gathering was to become familiar with each other. We warmly welcome to Prof. Choi and new lab members at HFEL Lab, KAIST. Professor Sang D. Choi, Ph.D., CSP, CPE
“Prof. Choi is full Professor and Director of Center for OESH in the Department of Occupational & Environmental Safety & Health at the University of Wisconsin (UW), Whitewater, Wisconsin, USA. He has also served as an adjunct & visiting the professor in the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and an invited lecturer at the OESH Master’s program at the University of West Indies (UWI) – Trinidad & Tobago. Professor Choi also works as a CPWR-The Center for Construction Research and Training consultant for the data tracking project funded by U.S. NIOSH/CDC. He has also served in the ANSI/ASSE A10-2 Technical Report (TR) – Prevention through Design (PtD) for Construction Safety and Health committee”.
