Seminar talk at KAIST (May 31, 2017)

On May 31, Prof. Xiong delivered an invited research seminar to ISE department students and faculties. In his talk titled “Low-cost portable system for fall risk assessment and fall prevention in an aging population”, he first reviewed existing technologies for elderly fall management and then introduced an innovative, low-cost and portable system for elderly fall risk assessment & fall prevention at home. The system is based on ICT technologies and was recently developed by his research team.
